My first skill was tarot, a skill I use regularly today. I have recently added dowsing to my professional practice when in January of 2006, after a successful missing persons case. This was a real confidence builder for me and I continue to expand my practice and serving the public with my insight. Psychic Qualifications: I have dabbled in several forms of divination including scrying, ouija, and dowsing. However, I naturally clicked at tarot and my accuracy was quickly noted after I began practicing it many years ago. I read for friends and family and everyone seemed impressed by my accuracy. As of January 2006, I have been a tarot reader for 6 years. I have been reading professionally for almost 2 years. I have served as a guest reader for Alexstar.com and I have read for the Psychic Power Network and Serenity's Northern New Age. I also run my own site here at Gray-Spirit.com where I offer my own personal reading services available to anyone via the internet. My biggest influences would have to be Kenny Kingston, Sylvia Browne, and Joan Bunning. I have followed Sylvia Browne for years and have read a few of her books. I hope to one say become as successful a reader as she is today. Joan Bunning was the author of the very first book I read about tarot. I wrote her shortly after reading it to praise her work and she responded by sending me my first deck. She is a very nice lady and a fantastic author. Spiritual Qualifications I became a Pagan back in 2000. I first began my study with a little website research. I was so fascinated by tarot that I bought the book Learning the Tarot, by Joan Bunning. I suggest this book to anyone aspiring to be a tarot reader. I enjoyed the book so much that I wrote to Joan Bunning to praise the book and she wrote back sending me the Universal Waite deck I still use today. Thanks Joan! :) Soon after falling into regular tarot practice, I began reading other books on the occult and the Craft. I have over 40 books in my collection today and have read nearly all of them cover to cover. After so much reading, you can imagine my understanding on the mechanics of magick is fairly impecable. Soon after becoming a serious Pagan, I joined a small circle in Florida where I received a little formal training. I later moved from Florida and back to my home state in Louisiana where I began working on my 1st degree. I founded Gates-of-Gaia.com back in 2004 where I began writing articles for people like me who wanted to learn about the Craft but didn't know where to start. Some of those articles are still available here on Gray-Spirit. I later moved Gates-of-Gaia to Gray-Spirit in early 2006 where I added many more features and continue to strongly expand the site today. |
